Waitomo Caves (glowworms). Lunch at Glenarden Kiwifruit Farm in Te Awamutu. Dinner at Rotorua McDonalds!

After leaving the glow worms at the Waitomo Caves, we had lunch at Gaye's relatives' home in Te Awamutu. Everyone gathered for photos outside on the lawn. The countryside had a spectacular view.

Before leaving Te Awamutu, we stopped at the dairy farm next door to see the New Zealand invention of a circular cow milking machine. The cows line up in a pen and each one takes their turn entering a stall on this round turntable where they get milked and then back out of the machine to be on their way. Sometimes a cow needs to go around twice to finish milking.
